These Product Terms explain how specific features of School Manager Uganda work in practice, especially our PegPay School Fees Gateway, Parent SMS Alerts, and NCDC Report Cards.
They apply to your school whenever you use these specific tools on your dashboard.
• Money Settles Straight into Your School Bank Account: We connect with Pegasus Technologies (PegPay) so parents can pay fees anywhere: at bank branches (Stanbic, Centenary, DFCU, Absa, Equity, PostBank, etc.), over 30,000 Agent Banking points, or via MTN MoMo and Airtel Money. All money goes directly into the school's bank account.
• School Manager Uganda Never Touches School Fees: We are a technology company, not a bank. At no point does your school fees money pass through our personal or company accounts. We only verify the student pay code and update your bursar's book automatically.
• Instant Student Verification: When a parent or agent enters the Student Pay Code, the system displays the student's name in less than a second so money is never credited to the wrong learner.
• Clearing & Receipts: If there is ever a network delay between a telecom and a bank, the automated PegPay system checks and updates the payment within 24 hours. The bursar can also verify any bank receipt code on the dashboard.
• Official School Business Only: SMS alerts sent through School Manager Uganda are strictly for genuine school information: instant payment receipts, fees balance reminders, report card ready alerts, and official headteacher notices.
• Following UCC Regulations: All text messages follow the rules of the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
• No Commercial Advertising: Schools are strictly prohibited from using the school SMS system to broadcast outside commercial advertisements or unsolicited marketing.
• Strict NCDC Guidelines: Our grading tools strictly follow the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) Lower Secondary assessment rules.
• Activities of Integration (AOI): Formative scores must be between 0.0 and 3.0. The system automatically stops a teacher from entering a wrong number like 5.0 or 10.0.
• Accurate Report Scores: The system combines 20% continuous assessment with 80% end-of-term exams and produces the official NCDC descriptors. The Director of Studies (DOS) reviews and approves all grades before printing.
• Fully Branded for Your School: Report cards display your school badge, motto, grading scale, headteacher signature, and stamp.
• Safe Digital Archive: Once the term marks are closed and approved by the headteacher, digital copies are locked safely in the system so old report cards can be reprinted years later if a former student needs them.
