Terms of Service

• Authorized School Heads: Accounts must be created by the school director, proprietor, headteacher, board member, or appointed bursar.

• Valid Schools: School Manager Uganda is designed for licensed nursery, primary, secondary, and vocational schools operating in Uganda.

• Password Security: Each teacher and staff member is responsible for keeping their login password secret. Never share your password with unauthorized persons or students.

Every school and its staff agree to use the system honestly and professionally:

• Accurate Information: Enter real, honest student marks and records. Never enter fake or fabricated UNEB assessment marks.

• System Protection: Do not attempt to break the system, hack into another school's account, or copy the software code.

• Respectful Communication: Do not use the school SMS service to send abusive, political, or unauthorized marketing messages.

• Always Available: We work hard to ensure the system is online and working 99.9% of the time, especially during busy periods like beginning of term fees payment and end-of-term report card printing.

• System Upgrades: When we need to do system maintenance or add new features, we do it late at night (usually between 12:00 midnight and 4:00 AM) so your school day is not interrupted.

• Things Beyond Our Control: We cannot be held responsible for unexpected national internet blackouts or general telecom network breakdowns in Uganda.

• The School Owns All Its Data: The school owns 100% of all student lists, teacher records, examination marks, report cards, and fees registers entered into the system.

• Avizon Innovations Owns the Software: Avizon Innovations Ltd owns the School Manager Uganda code, designs, and calculation engines.

• No Lock-In: You are never locked in. Your school can download all its records in Excel or PDF format anytime without penalty.

• Clear, Honest Pricing: Our subscription fees are simple and transparent. Standard schools pay a fair flat rate up to 300 students, plus UGX 40,000 for each additional 100 students.

• Termly Payment: Subscriptions are paid per academic term (Term I, Term II, and Term III) or annually if the school prefers.

• Full Term Grace Period: We understand that schools collect fees gradually as parents pay in installments. If your school experiences any delay in settling the subscription, we give you a full academic term grace period so teachers and learners are never disrupted. Your historical marks and records are always kept safe and are never deleted.

• We promise to keep your school platform secure, fast, and up to date with Ugandan educational standards.

• In the rare event of a software issue, our liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by your school in the last 12 months.

• The school is responsible for ensuring that the marks, names, and fees amounts entered by its staff are correct.

• Friendly Discussion First: If any misunderstanding happens between the school and School Manager Uganda, we agree to sit down together and resolve it amicably as partners.

• Laws of Uganda: These terms are guided by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any formal dispute will be handled fairly under the Arbitration and Conciliation laws of Uganda in Kampala.
